Nä­kö­vam­mais­ten nuorten Poh­jois­mai­nen leiri

Nordic camp is the perfect opportunity for those who are interested in meeting other young people with visual impairment, getting friends from other Nordic countries, and learning more about the other organisations and what they do. There will be a perfect mix of both fun, summery activities, and more serious conversations about what it’s like in our respective countries, how our organisations work to better the lives of other young people with visual impairment, and how our organisations work to engage new young people. 

Examples of fun activities you’ll be able to choose from include visiting a water park, pony riding, visiting a Viking village, having a shopping day in the city of Visby, swimming by the beach, and more. We have planned to have bigger activities from Monday to Friday during camp, and to have the saturday as a last day with calmer activities at the resort, but with a disco in the evening, and a chance to perform at an open stage.

We’ll be staying at Slite Strand resort in cabins with 6 people in each cabin. The resort is about 30 minutes by car from the city of Visby, which is the main city on the island of Gotland. The resort is near a beach by the ocean, so hopefully we’ll have good enough weather to swim in. 

At the resort there’s a restaurant where we will have both breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Apart from the meals we’ll have while out and about doing various activities. We will also have access to a conference room where we will be having social activities as well as some traditional Swedish fika. Bed linens and cleaning on the final day is included in our accommodation.

Included in the fees are: 

-                           Flights from your capital cities to Sweden, and back (Suomalaisilla myös junaliput rautatieasemalta Helsinki-Vantaan lentokentälle.

-                           All travel that happens within Sweden

-                           Accommodation in cabins with 6 people in each cabin

-                           Bed linens and cleaning

-                           Meals including non-alcohol drinks

-                           All activities

-                           Good company

PM-leiri on Erasmus+ nuorisovaihto. Leirikieli on englanti. Englantisi ei tarvitse olla lähelläkään täydellistä, mutta alkeet pitää hallita. Suomesta mukaan lähtee 5 16 – 30 -vuotiasta nuorta ja ohjaaja. Jos halukkaita on enemmän kuin paikkoja, niin kaksi ensimmäistä paikkaa arvotaan ensikertalaisista ja loput arvotaan kaikista halukkaista.
